Why?

Why can’t we just agree on 1 little thing. I’m black and you’re white. We don’t like the same things and that’s making it extremely hard to plan a wedding! Why do we have to be complete opposites? I want crazy, unique, wild and fun. You..well you don't know what you want but I think you want simple and elegant. I’m sorry that I'm not simple and elegant. I never have been and I never will be. That’s just not me. I’m not boring. Make up your mind and get back to me ok? Thanks.

It’s been too long

It’s been too long since I updated this thing. Not much has been going on. I’ve been working a lot and making a book full of ideas for the wedding. I can’t even describe how happy and elated I am to be getting married. I love Kenny more than anything in the world and cannot wait to be his wife. We were thinking a fall wedding. Early October. Lots of rich reds, oranges and browns. It will be gorgeous. Now we just gotta find a place to hold 300 people! I’ve asked most of my bridal party to be in my wedding already and thankfully they’ve all said yes. I can’t wait until it gets closer so I can start dress shopping for both myself and the girls. I feel like a little kid in a candy store!

I applied for the Art Institute of Michigan the other day! I’m really hoping I get in but we’ll see. I’m going to do their Baking and Pastry Arts certificate program then go back to do the Culinary Arts Associates Degree. I can’t wait to start school! Now, I just gotta come up with the money to go!
